Mary Neale MA MCIfA
Mary has over 18 years’ professional experience, in local government and the private sector. She has worked on small and large-scale residential schemes, urban redevelopment, purpose-built commercial facilities and environmentally beneficial recycling facilities. She also advises clients on the management of their historic estate portfolios, including renovations and redevelopments. Mary has also worked on appeal cases and manages both archaeological and built heritage issues for her clients.
Primary experience relates to:
- negotiating with local authorities on heritage constraints
- settings assessments
- Listed building and conservation area assessments
- surveying historic buildings
- archaeology surveys and preliminary investigations
- managing detailed archaeological investigations
- working with fieldwork teams to ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
Recent projects include residential, solar farms, anaerobic digestion plants, quarries and crematoriums.
Other experience includes research, training and working with community groups.
Senior Heritage Consultant and Quality Assurance Advisor
Mike Lang Hall BA MCIfA
Mike Lang Hall has been a professional archaeologist since 1972. He has worked in local government, the water industry, and private practice. His practical experience includes highway and housing development schemes, mineral extraction, pipeline and reservoir construction, and river and coastal engineering. He is a Member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists and the author of numerous articles in books and journals.
Assistant Heritage Consultant
Karen Rowland BSc
Karen is undertaking her commercial training with Archway Heritage having gained heritage conservation qualifications through the Oxford Brookes Historic Conservation Masters Degree Programme. She is experienced in the heritage management of Conservation Areas and within wider community and voluntary spheres. Through this work and her prior years in the fashion and interior design business, she has gained extensive project management skills.
